BACKGROUND
Paralyzed Veterans of America is a vocal advocate for accessibility in travel. Our team was instrumental in the passage of the Air Carrier Access Act passed by Congress in 1986, and recently helped with passage of the Federal Aviation Administration Reauthorization Act of 2018 (H.R. 302).
In addition, Paralyzed Veterans of America is continuing the fight to make airplane restrooms more accessible and our efforts are working — but there is much to be done.
